You're booking someone who smiles behind the lens, who has years of experience seeking those detail moments that are all the feels. From inquiry to session or wedding day. I love to slow it down and have fun with it. I'm not for the stiff or cheesy. But don't worry if it doesn't come naturally! Ashley is the most incredible photographer we’ve ever worked with! She was extremely helpful with the outfit planning process and worked with us to find the perfect location for the vibe we were going for. We have two toddlers so taking pictures as you can imagine can be challenging. Ashley was enthusiastic and knew exactly how to engage the kiddos! She even played “baby shark” to get their attention and made up fun games while taking photos. My kids loved her!! She takes the most amazing, candid photos that truly captured our family perfectly. Ashley is so authentic and sweet and genuinely wants to get to know her clients. We will forever cherish our photos and can’t wait for our next shoot with Ashley!

This shoot was a surprise to me from my partner for our engagement. We had this trip planned to Kauai, but I didn’t know about the shoot until 5 days before the day. I am normally a control freak but Ash’s calming presence and beautiful portfolio put me at ease and I was just along for the ride. If you are vulnerable, honest, and trusting of her artistry, she will not disappoint. Before we met for the day of the shoot, Ash met with us virtually to walk through all the potential locations to select one that best matches our vibe. I so appreciated not only the expertise of a local resident to find the perfect spot for us, but also the guidance to ensure we were selecting a photoshoot location that is respectful/suitable as visitors of Kauai. She explained there are some locations she reserves for locals, which we think is so cool & builds so much trust with her clients & community, and made us feel super confident about working with her. She was verbal and talked us through the entire shoot which was amazing to get through some of the jitters. Because this shoot was a surprise to me, she even offered to let me borrow a dress of hers to match the vibe I wanted in my photos.
